I've been extremely busy as of late with work and the Lawless party; it slipped my mind to post this. I did a mix a few weeks ago for the fine Argentine podcast
DJs Are Persons. The concept of their posts is like a record/mixtape; there's a side A and a side B. Pretty clever, huh? Some great mixes there from up and coming DJs/producers including former regular Subdrive dj
Lazaro Casanova. Check it out as they post new mixes regularly.

Everybody should absolutely know Daft Punk, but what most people don't know about is that lots of their tracks have samples from older songs. Well the good folks at
Palms Out Sounds compiled a list of the original songs that Daft Punk has sampled. Check it out, its pretty great to hear the original full-length tracks.

Selektor pick, Mindsaw Recording/Technorganic Recordings artist/dj Claw finally comes round to the studio and does a hard-hitting drum 'n bass mix for us! Tracklisting to be posted a.s.a.p.!

Subdrive is 2 years old!

It's been two years since the show started on Pratt Radio (February 7th, 2005 was the first post), it's amazing how much things change in two years! I'm really happy to see how far we've come, first by adding more DJs to the show, the expansion of the podcast, and now the monthly party!
And it's official, since day 1 we've had over 59,549 DOWNLOADS of the show!!! More to come in 2007, so stay tuned. Thanks to everyone for downloading, tuning in live, and coming out to the party!
In celebration, I thought I'd highlight some important sets on the show:
Lazaro Casanova's first show at the Season Premiere
Tony Jasper's first show (then Xacto)
Eric Wrenn's first show
Subdrive Live: Silent Valley Crew
Angel Alanis Mix
First show NOTE: Back then, the show didn't really have a direction and it wasn't a DJ mix show.
Labels: angel alanis, eric wrenn, galbis, lazaro casanova, subdrive live, tony jasper, xacto

Yes...I know. We're REALLY late into getting our own myspace account for the show. Whatever. You guys can hear all the shows streaming from our myspace page, all the bookings for residents plus keep up to date with contests, news, and of course the LAWLESS parties.
cheers!
